Name scooped the sleeping Autumn up into his arms and carried her up to the door of his (now their) room. Fumbling with the key he fit it in the lock opening the door. He had lived in this room for almost eight years now and Knew it like the back of his hand. He stepped around the home lab in the living room and to his small single bed. Setting Autumn down and tucked her in. He stroked her hair a few moments and then got up and busy. He went to his lab and put away his syringes, scalpel, and all of the 'scary' tools of his profession, least he remind her of the lab. He thought of running a few tests on his latest cure he was working on. But it didn't show much promise and he didn't want to wake Autumn up. So he sat in his torn up old office chair with his eyes closed, and unsure if he was asleep with Autumn Name said quietly, "Goodnight Aiden."
