Nearly a quarter of a century has passed since Queen Cassandra, former queen of England and mother of Anthony, unified both Ireland and England to form the Great Kingdom of Solitude. While Solitude is a fairly new nation, it is not to be underestimated as it has an "offer one hand but arm the other" way of dealing with other nations. Solitude has an all volunteer military, meaning that all of it's soldiers are willing to lay down their lives for their nation and it's people; it is also the home to many entrepreneurs and intellectuals that work to create the most innovative technology the world has ever seen, such as hard light holograms, multi-directional cloaking, and even very early prototypes of hover-bikes. Solitude could prove quite useful as a military and trading ally; however, if Solitude is challenged by another nation, it will not back down. Since Solitude is an island, it has been isolated from the world for generations; In a few days, as his first major change as King, the freshly crowned King Anthony, will open Solitude's borders for the first time to the entire world. He hopes that Solitude can become the world's citadel, a place where other nation's leaders and diplomats can mingle and their people can trade resources with one another. But be warned, if King Anthony feels that another leader is a little too tall on his or her high horse, he will not hesitate to kick them back down to size.
