Right. I'm assuming that some kind of referendum was held, with the goal of pushing it through in stages; the most reasonable part, the 'Mutant ID', being the first, and that was defeated. Am I right? I'm also assuming that the people in your post were Westboro Baptist Church-esque extremists and in a laughable minority; I find it highly unlikely that any significant section of the public would support concentration camps for anyone. Come to think of it, even the 'keeping potentially dangerous mutants in custody and threatening to execute them' thing seems unlikely to garner much support either. Blegh, I always get hung up on how politics is handled in fiction. I'd say this RP has done pretty well so far, though. Just looking to inform my next post. That, and I generally love the idea of 'how would society realistically deal with a genetically superpowered minority?'
