Well most certaintly a investigation would take place. The people involved would be questioned. Politicians would gather reviving the act or attacking it. Rednecks would get media attention posing with their wounds. All in all, it sounds like the start of a very interesting plot. Mutants having to prove that they are no danger to humanity while in fact they really are in some way or another.

Then again, this is Dark's RP so i want to wait until he says it would be okay. Though, if i'll join in, i'd probably levitate some guys and shoot maximum 1 guy in the arm resulting in burn wounds. Crisping an entire redneck like bacon is probably a very bad idea.
