[/quote] Well, they don't know how to pronounce an internal "h" because they do not have a letter for "H" in there alphabet (or even in their spoken language). They can only pronounce the "H" sound at the beginning of a word (rough breathing marks), after t (theta), k (khi), p (phi), and when r is at the beginning of the word (rhetor). I am not saying they are doing it on purpose. It is just they have no concept of an internal h beyond the exceptions above. Edit: Also, "r"'s in Greek are rolled, if that makes any difference.
