It took Tes and the others several moments to finally realize that the new creatures could not understand what they had said.(Though that didn't stop Tes from quickly grabbing the beautiful necklace and putting it around her neck despite it being much to big for her.) The family then huddled close together making a tight circle were they all discussed solutions.

Gib using a stick that was pointy and made it easier to pick fruit with started making simple scribbles in the sand. When completed they resembled a child's stick figure drawing. It depicted a figure that looked like a Yelb holding hands with a primitive picture of a Cindorayi holding hands while above them several Cindorayi and Yelb circled around the large moon crystal.

Gibson kept pointing at himself and the picture repeating "Gui...Gui...Gui..."
