Kheshig took the car out for a short little joyride around the city center for a few minutes, opting for the minor roads rather than the main street in an effort to lose anyone that might have followed him on the way to the flower shop. It was highly unlikely that anyone caught wind of their little operation, but he never did believe that one could be too cautious. With a quick glance at his rear-view mirror to confirm that he was not being tailed, he rejoined the main road and headed back towards the flower shop, turning into a narrow alleyway a few blocks away. Bulging bags of trash lined the walls of the alleyway, some of them having burst and spilling their putrid contents onto the ground. The whole place smelled of rot, and that was perfect for Kheshig's needs. The smell alone would turn away even the most curious of minds. "Do not answer. Break. Callsign Kheshig is on-site. Advise Callsigns Condor and Birdseed to proceed with mission. Callsign Kheshig going silent, I repeat, going silent. Do not answer. Out." He said and grabbed his duffel bag, pulling it to the front. He then took a deep breath. Covering his nose with a sleeve, he exited the vehicle and quickly made his way out of the alleyway. The stench was even worse than the mounds of cow, goat and horse manure he had grown accustomed to during his youth in Heilongjiang. It was a relief when he finally stepped out onto the main street and could start breathing normally again. He walked a couple of blocks down the street before turning into another alley which led around to the back of the flower shop. He walked briskly, occasionally tugging on the strap that secured the bag to his back. The rear of the flower shop was plain brick with a single, grey door built into the wall. As expected, there was a security camera overlooking the door, but Kheshig had prepared for such a possibility. He gently placed the duffel bag onto the ground and unzipped it, intent on using one of his EMP charges to disable the camera. It would alert anyone in the camera room, but it would also play to Kheshig's advantage. It would make it easier for him to convince whoever it was that there was indeed something wrong with the security system. However, while he rummaged around his bag, he came across a remote control that he distinctly remembered not packing. Carefully, he took it out and gave it a quick examination. With a ghost of a smile, he recognized it as one of Birdseed's gadgets, some kind of universal remote for cameras. It was a rather quality piece of kit, and Kheshig had been intending on making his own copy, but had held off because he did not want to seem as if he was trying to one-up Birdseed. "Thank you, little birdie." He muttered to himself and pointed the remote at the camera, hitting the pause button. That should be enough to cover his entry. Just to be on the safe side, he also took out his lockgun and pocketed it. He did not fancy the chances of the back door being unlocked, and he was right. It was a minor hitch, if it could even be called one. A quick introduction of the lock to his lockgun got the door open, and Kheshig waltzed in with confidence. It was an old and well-known trick, but if he acted as if he belonged in the shop, then others would be inclined to believe the same. Besides, his electrician's getup should be enough to answer any obvious questions the employees had for him. True enough, he ran into someone as he approached the camera room. "Oi, what do you think you're doing here?" A bald and very muscular man asked. "Security upgrade. Scheduled visit." Kheshig replied, keeping his voice flat and sounding bored. "Don't recall calling for any electrician," The man said suspiciously. "Your boss called me," Kheshig said. It was a gamble, but with just a rough look at the man, Kheshig doubted that he was the owner of the shop. He looked more to be the enforcer sort, staying at the back of the shop and waiting to pounce should anyone ask too many questions. In Kheshig's experience, they had plenty of muscle, but were lacking in the cognitive department. "Look, man, we can stand around here talking all day or I can get to work, do what I need to do and leave." The man furrowed his brow slightly, but then relented. "This way to the camera room," He said and opened a door to their right, gesturing for Kheshig to enter first. Kheshig walked into the room, but to his dismay, the man followed. There was little chance of Kheshig asking him to leave without sounding suspicious. Looking at the array of screens in front of him, he saw one which displayed the front of the shop. Spying Birdseed and Condor arriving, he hoped silently that whatever distraction they had in mind, it would be able to draw the man away, otherwise things were going to get very, very messy.
