Snow Brutes Era of Dud's Great Tribe Population: 251 in Village, 24 going South, 1 left of Eastern Group The Southern group kept on pushing through the forest for several more days. Eventually they saw less and less wild life. Nothing of any real interest, though. But, today they find something particularly interesting. "Hunt just disappear.", remarks Fro as the group marches through the green. A chorus of agreement replies to his assessment of the situation. Suddenly, Fro trips over something on the ground. The group laughs deeply, a sort of echo of rumbles. Hof walks over and helps Fro up, when the leader sees what the hunter tripped over. Picking the object up, he turns it over in his hand a few times. It is a less refined version of a Snow Brute Axe. "Odd." In the Village, Dud is sitting, with his young 4 year old son, along the Rocky shore. "Dud," the young one tentatively begins, "the things in water, not hunts. Why?" Dud thinks for moment. Why didn't they hunt the swimming things? They look edible enough. Snow Brutes were not picky. "Fur!" Dud bellows. The lead hunter quickly appears. "I want every hunter, armed with Spears, to try and kill those swimming creatures." Fur looks confused for a second, but follows his leaders orders. Soon, there are many hunters upon the shore, clumsily attempting to spear a fish. Eventually, after much trial and error a Brute finally manages to impale an impressively sized fish. Every Brute bursted into a cheerful yell, celebrating the first swimming thing killed. This is certainly a glorious occasion. Faw had reached a wall of tall green trees several days ago. She wasn't sure of what to do, so she just kept walking. She tried killing some of the rustles she saw, but they scurried off before she could even get close. Today, she is still walking in the forest, cursing her idiot group. All of a sudden, a big brown creature roars and charges her. The female Brute is extremely low on strength, she knows she cannot fight. So, she puts her remaining strength into her legs and runs as fast as her stubby limbs can carry her. She runs, and runs, and runs for what seems like hours upon hours. Eventually, she runs out out of energy and collapses on the dirt ground. The last thing she sees before she passes out is a brief flash of a very colorful creature.... [@Aweirdgamer] The Southern group is determined to find where the axe came from. "Maybe some kind of Snow Brute around," Ser cautiously says. "Or maybe Jeks learn to swing axe", Hof laughs. However, his laughter is cut short when he stumbles out into some kind of clearing in the forest. He looks to both sides and there are no trees as far as he can see. It seems as if a path had been carved out here. "Very odd." [@Mihndar]
