I've included a helpful diagram [s]made by somebody else[/s] of the ship for everyone to see. There's also a picture of a Spanish Galleon to give you an idea of what it may look like. 

EDIT: I also edited my post to be in line with the diagrams. On top of all that I included an extra paragraph or two to tie things up a little bit. You should all go take a second look at it. It may answer some questions, settle some minds. 

Perhaps it made things worse, how would I know?
