When the tear opened up, Jeff took a hesitant step back from the immense flux of energy it created. Damn, creating something like that must take a lot out of the guy he thought to himself as he watched Kennedy approach the portal. He could tell she was hesitant, and was tempted to place a comforting hand on her shoulder, but of course her being her, she stepped into the tear without a sound. It was strange, from where he saw, it looked as if she had just walked forward, no indication that she went through aside from the fact she was now discolored as the image in the tear was. Jeff cracked his neck from side to side and walked forward, planning to be the next to step through. "Well gentlemen, danger awaits!" he said to the other men as he gave a hearty wave and took a leaping step into the tear. He didnt feel that weird aside from the little strange flutter he got from going through, but now he found himself next to Kennedy in as much awe as she was in, taking in the grand spectacle that was this Rapture. "This... this is... incredible!" he exclaimed excitedly to Kennedy, gripping her shoulders as he looked at her with a gleam in his eye before turning back around and taking in the view of the vast underwater city.
