May I just take this time to express my interest, as well as kudos to you for thinking of such an elaborate, detailed, and immersive piece of work? Honestly, it's got a Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire feel to it, and I absolutely love it. Just one question though: must our character have magical powers? Edit: Also, under Abilities, Deep Magic is mentioned. But what if our character has not undergone hardship severe enough to earn augmentation? Should we leave this section empty, or fill it in still, in the case our character later acquires Deep Magic? Thanks!
This... is not something I accounted for, hahah. I don't want to right-out deny this concept, but the thought never even occurred to me! I mean, it's totally possible since there are thousands, millions of people in Iliviace that don't have Deep Magic... however for reasons I won't delve into right now, this character wouldn't have shadows trying to get his/her attention. So that means that unless they happen to literally stumble onto the group, they might be on their own for a bit before the group can make it to whatever location your character is at. If you're okay with that and okay with me helping you by trying to make it easy for me to interact with you separately or whatever, then I'm game for trying the idea. ^.^
[@lydyn] Are the gods going to have any like symbols or crest?
Not officially, but feel free to make symbols if you'd like. I'd imagine most symbols or crests following the gods are similar (like Gaia would often have nature-focused ones, etc).
I will be releasing the CS if I can, but before that, for the 'other' section, I have put "Relationships with other Kingdoms", I hope thats alright. If the Kingdom sheet conflicts, then do tell me, so I can adjust in accordance xD
That is perfectly fine!~
Whoa. Props GM, this has gotta be the most detailed and thought-out world i've ever seen.
Awwww.... thank you!~ Originally, I didn't plan on making so much detail, but then people started asking questions... so I hung my head, sighed, and figured I might as well - haha~
Ack. Everyone else has WiP CS's up. *panics*
No hurries. ^.^
3 Archers, 3 Assassins, A royal alchemist and a knight walk into a bar... Great looking characters so far guys!
So this is definitely something worth addressing (I haven't looked, so I dunno if this is true). The thing is, I would rather NOT this be the case... I'm sure they're all wonderful characters, but I'd rather diversity in the group because for one - I'd like some group tactics, forcing them to work together. For example, Cerylia is terrible at close range, despite she can handle herself (somewhat)... so having a sword-buddy next to her would be using great teamwork, letting her snipe off distance enemies while the swordsman fights anyone charging the two. Beyond that, I'd imagine most people to be more familiar with some sort of melee combat, as it's a bit easier to learn and master. It makes more sense that swordsmen would outnumber any amount of archers... and as I've already said, assassins? Those are already on thin ice so to speak since I know most have expressed wanting darker characters that are okay with cold murder, etc (which honestly seems odd, when I expressed not wanting evil characters, haha). Now I'll apologize ahead of time if I jumped the gun and [@Inertia] was just kidding around. :p I just hurried a bit to post all my replies so I have time to look over all the writing that are the CSs and wanted to nip this in the bud in case it really is happening. ^.^ Anyways, now I'm going to go back and read some of the CSs!~ <3
