As his thugs were beaten and the high pitched noise was really getting on his nerves. The Striker started to grow angry and with that acid starting pouring out of his glands. "Time to die you pathetic heroes!" With that he charged Ajax and as his anger grew so did his acids power. He slammed his fist into the shield pushing Ajax back and didn't stop the onslaught of punches

"This ends here!" He said as Striker then with all his might punched Ajax into a grey truck that was abandoned from the start of the fight. "Mickey get out of here with the cash! I will find my way to the base later once a deal with these Romans!" He said to the driver of the van who had been waiting for the order. The driver nodded and speed away with most of the cash inside. " Now where were we?" Striker said turning back around-now with most of his body covered in a bright green acid to the duo.

Guinevere Hart

Saving civilians, defeating villains, it seemed all too real as Tess and Gwen played their superhero counterparts. They had been waiting for this moment for what seemed like forever. The White Guardian and Teen Tornado had finally made their debut. Unlike her entire life, Gwen finally felt like she belonged here. It wasn't until the mind behind the clones turned his attention toward them did things get real.

It seemed only like seconds before innocent hostages were being held over balconies and threatened with weapons. What seemed only like an easy game earlier had turned into a haunted reality. Gwen and Tess were only teenagers, immature girls who were still learning how to drive and deal with hormones. This was an actual, serious villain. Gwen couldn't help but feel completely helpless and embarrassed.

“Your move, folks,” the villain said, his remaining clones speaking in unison with him. “My brothers and I truly do not wish to hurt these people, but you've given us very little alternative. Sit down and surrender, and we give you our word that you will be released unharmed once that demagogue Kaganovich meets our demands.”

Gwen felt conflicted and confused, what was she supposed to do? Give up? Just like that? It seemed ridiculous and went against everything she believed in. Before Gwen couldn't even decide though, another boy held up his hands instantly. She realized he was the one with the 'magic' abilities she sensed earlier. The situation did seem dire though, what could they do with all these people at risk? They'd have to suffer their pride. Gwen was also about to raise her hands when The Phoenix took charge and attacked the clone master. Gwen stared in pure awe. WOAH. So cool!!! Now that was a real hero, someone who never gave up and always found a solution. However, once Uprsing was taken down, his clones disappeared, leaving several civilians to fall to their death from the balconies. Phoenix managed to save several but hostages still remained. Gwen glanced at Tess, hoping she had enough strength to save the rest for Gwen could only save one. Rushing toward the closest falling person, a little boy crying in terror, Gwen let him fall into her arms. The force was enough to crush Gwen against the ground and probably break a few bones, but the boy was breathing. She gasped in pain but it wasn't long before her body healed itself.

"One of you, call an ambulance. Those that didn't get saved by me or the other heroes will need medical attention. You, though, come with me," Phoenix ordered them before walking off. Finding that the little boy had minor injuries, Gwen put her hands over the boy's stomach and let a white light glow from her hands, healing him.

"Be careful next time, okay bud? Now go look for your parents," She smiled and ruffled his hair, letting him off to find his mother and father.

Several people were weeping and hurt, now it was her turn to shine. Phoenix might be the best at offense but Gwen was all defense. Taking care of people was what her gift enabled her to do. Gwen walked up to everyone she passed by and healed their injuries, smiling as people gasped at the white glow. Many people thanked her and asked of her name, which Gwen was all but too happy to reply.

"The White Guardian, and that other there," She said, pointing to Tess "is Teen Tornado. She's totally wicked and saved many lives tonight," Gwen grinned at Tess. Perhaps things didn't go as badly as she previously perceived.

Over the Metropark Zoo

At an altitude of about eight hundred feet, a massive Golden Eagle was in flight. She was currently looking for food, preferably fish or rabbit but she was not terribly picky. Considering her insticts were running things the giant eagle really did not care.

Of course the Eagle was not really an eagle but the former Francine Fowler that was caught in the White Rain. The close to twenty foot wings helped keep the anthromorphic eagle woman aloft.

Below she heard a commotion. She was ridding a thermal and glided as she watched with her amazing eyes what. Was going on down below. Of course many below that were not preoccupied would have noticed the massive bird woman overhead. However, she was more interested in observing. It was for a moment as if Francine popped up from the depth of her own mind and saw what was happening below and grew curious.

Pearl felt relieved that Mama Bear understood and didn't turn around and shoot her right there and then. Pearl suddenly held her arm as Ifrit made a talk about buying the zoo for Mama Bear, and letting her go from there. It was convincing, Pearl had to agree, however it still meant the animals were in captivity. Pulsecat was on Mama Bear's side now, and she couldn't turn back, at least, not right now. Still, she had to get paid. "Reinforcements have arrived." ANAI suddenly claimed, the views from two different cameras popping up in her HUD. The first was the view from a drone that had moved into position overhead, the second was the view from a LAD (Light Attack Drone), one of four flying out of the top of a small, four-wheeled vehicle. From the second view, she could also see a five man team in MK3 Xeaforge armour disembarking from a separate vehicle and moving to the wall of the zoo. The drones flew over the wall, and right behind Pearl.

"Sorry, though you have made a good point, I must stick with my decision." Pearl aims her cannon at Ifrit, and eyes the power levels of her armour. It was enough, she supposed. "Xeaforge team, engage my target!" She calls out, as the Xeaforge troopers move in. "ANAI, Essance Warp." She demands, feeling a vibration in her hand as the shape is formed. She squeezes, and a sharp blade-shaped pulse launches from the cannon. She squeezes several more times, the power level fluctuating. Meanwhile, the LADs turn their rotors and move toward Ifrit, the small drones firing 4.5mm ammunition, whereas the men now crouched around Pearl began to fire 6.5mm ammunition at him. Pearl changes her weapon back to pulse, and fires normally.

Lee Kyger-Ifrit

Outside Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

It's seemed that the armor lady would not see reason. She was defending the villain as she shot at others, how she could be comfortable with that, he did not no. Lee glanced around and took in the gravity of the situation they were in at the moment. The Blue Giant was being attacked by penguins, which should have been easy dealt with. There rock girl was attacked by hundred of flying bugs, which was a fate that Lee really did not want to experience. He was not sure what to do, he could have just burned them both to kingdom come, but the situation would become worse at that point.

Suddenly was roar of anger startled him. He looked up towards the sky and watched as the Dragon shot out a stream of fire. It was so powerful, and scary, Lee jumped back a few feet, making sure he dodged the whole thing. He felt bad for the armor girl and the animal woman, fighting a dragon would defiantly not be fun. Another yell attracted Lee's attention, the Blue guy was about to elbow the shit out of the animal lady and Armor girl, they were in for quiet a surprise.

"What's the point anymore?" Lee mumbled to himself angrily. she had basically ignored them both and had her reinforcements come and help her. She had been buying time, drones and troopers who has been summoned to help her most likely had arrived. He and the heroes were badly out numbered. Lee watched the armor girl closely as she commanded her lackeys to attack whoever she was attacking, which was him. He immediately transformed and jumped into the air, fire surrounded his body like a shield as he flew. He need to think for a few seconds, Lee flew as high as he could, high enough were all the armor ladies lackeys looked like ants. Lee closed his eyes and concentrated, he focused 2 balls fire in his hands. Hundreds of fire energy was forced into a small bright ball of ever growing energy. In these 2 balls, he could easily melt asphalt. Lee fired a beam of fire right down to the armored girl and the animal lady.

“That was good, good!” Dean began a long applause at the feats the hero’s went to in order to save the hostages. He strode over from his sideline position walking to the injured Uprising. “But you will not jail him…” In a swift motion, Dean pulled a smoke bomb from one of his pouches and tossed it to the ground, causing an explosion of blinding smog to fill the immediate area. With that, he’d pick up Uprising and carry the man in his arms to the exit in a mad dash to Dean’s car. In the event that he'd be chased after, a handful of spiky caltrops were thrown about near the door.

A lot of surprising things had happened in the past half hour. They came to the mall to buy a present but ended up fighting an army that literally consisted of one person, saving some people — and Tess's best friend clobbered a clone's head with a baseball bat. But the most dumbfounding thing yet was when all the clones actually disappeared in front of her own eyes. Being shocked was currently a luxurious waste of precious time as hostages were simultaneously dropped over the railing. Tess sprinted towards the balcony and hopped over the railing, beginning the descent. Seeing half a dozen people falling in front of her, she had little time to think.

Tess closed her eyes as she neared the pavement, she'd foolishly let fear take over her thoughts. She thought of the air around her and imagined it flying upward, catching and lifting her and all the former hostages from hitting the pavement. They were all a few feet away from the ground when Tess felt a tug in her gut and an uplifting wind stopped everyone from hitting the ground. She opened her eyes and saw herself and six civilians suspended in the air by the unseen force of the wind.

"Woah," she mouthed to herself, before all of a sudden the wind dissipated and she faceplanted on the ground, and the people dropped with her. It wasn't a perfect landing but she managed to save the falling civilians. She might have gotten a black eye and a bloody lip from neglecting to brace her fall, but other than that she was okay.

She stood up to several "Thank you"'s from the people she saved and made an elegant bow. "You've got nothing to worry about with Tess — err, Teen Tornado around." She realized she wasn't all that impressive looking. She was supposed to have a cool costume and stuff but here she was, wearing a striped hoodie and jeans. Her face was caked with soot and dirt.

Her ears were still ringing from the impact, but she could make out Gwen pointing to her not too far away. She grinned in her direction and gave her a thumbs up. She saw someone clapping in the distance, but her knees buckled from exhaustion and she collapsed to the ground.

The Phoenix spotted Tess as she collapsed to the ground, just as a smoke bomb went off by the security guard to whom she had entrusted the body of Uprising. Putting her priorities in order without a second's hesitation, Rose expanded her wings behind her so as to remain aerodynamically stable as she ran towards Tess. Upon reaching the girl, she picked her up, and held her between both of her arms a la Pietà. She swept her wings downward, taking off into the air as soon as they were out of the mall, continuing in pursuit of Dean and Uprising. Once in the air, she spoke to Tess, reassuringly.

"I'll take care of you once we've taken care of these two."

She flew through the air, without flapping her wings even once, gliding smoothly with the wind. Quickly approaching a speed of 40 mph, she overtook Dean, and quickly overtaking Dean as he ran, and landed softly a few meters in front of him. Setting Tess down on a car, she turned to face Dean as he approached. She held out her left hand in front of her, placing her right hand on the hilt of her sword, while expanding her wings to their full length to discourage Dean from running any further.

"Stop running. Set the boy down, and you may be on your way."

Casting a sideward glance towards Tess, she silently prayed to any god that might be listening that she wouldn't have to fight the boy. A one sided blade versus a broadsword would not be a fair fight, no matter the skills of the wielders.

Bursting through the mall doors, the sunlight overhead gave off a strong glare blinding Dean for a moment. He skidded to a halt as a winged blur landed in front of him, impeding his progress. He blinked, once twice, three times, getting used to the sunlight before she made her move. His eyes followed her hand as it reached down, then they went wide. He gulps, and a smirk slides across his face. Should he… No, it was too risky. There were others about and it was rather unlikely that they’d give these two the privacy they deserved for such a spectacle. But he couldn’t shoot her, it would be unfair to put down what Dean assumed to be a fantastic warrior with a gun of all things.

Instead, he pulled the pistol and bore it into the underside of Uprising’s head. Just across the way Dean could see his car, he just had to make it there… “Why would I let you have him? So he can rot in prison?” Dean slowly started to sidle around Phoenix, hoping he’d be able to get around her in this manner. “I know what it is like. To have all things I know crushed and to be stuck in hell. He could be so much more, like I was when Hitam saved me. He will be more.” Dean would try to keep Phoenix distracted through conversation, and made sure the gun he bore could be clearly viewed. “I am sorry, but I could not help but see your blade. Tell me, where is it from?”

Phoenix saw the gun, and realized his manipulative tactic. Narrowing her eyes, she realized that this one was smart, more manipulative than most. Any villain who relied on cunning over his physical attributes was to be treated with much caution. She lowered her left hand to her side, and her right from its placement on the hilt of her sword. Folding her wings back, relaxing them slightly, Phoenix took a step towards Dean. Her body language was strong and dominating, but she did not seem to be actively on the offensive. She spoke softly, trying to give him a second chance. However kind and merciful her words and tone, her accent was still harsh.

"I do not want to take him to prison, nor do I want to take you to prison. To my knowledge, you are merely aiding and abetting a criminal, whose acts are out of a twisted perspective of the world rather than out of conscious evil. Neither of you should spend years locked behind bars without a chance to change. I want to offer you that chance. Please, allow me to help you. Put down the gun, and I promise, I will let you go free if you so choose."

She spoke quickly, ignoring his query about her sword. That information was public domain- a simple internet search of her would bring up the news articles of her acceptance of the sword from the mayor of her city. Her eyes, masked behind her helmet's cover, were focused on his gun. Approaching him slowly, she consciously tried to engage him in the conversation, knowing now that he valued his brains over anything else. Her marine corps training had not just focused on brawn, as tactics and strategy were just as important, if not more so. Though it was discouraged to negotiate with terrorists, Rose believed that she should give this mere boy a chance.

"I cannot, however, give you your freedom if you pull that trigger. Even if you believe that his death would be a better choice for him than his redemption, killing someone who has no choice in the matter is murder. Put down the gun."

She was now only a meter away from him, having taken small, gradual steps to approach him.

CLEVELAND METROPARKS ZOO

A lot happened to Mama Bear in a very small period of time. Firstly, she looked up as Frankenstein very loudly announced his attack. She was athletic and alert enough to immediately get out of the falling giant's way, but the simple impact of his elbow on the concrete path was enough to knock Mama Bear to the ground.

Eradicator's bullet, meant for her knee, instead impacted her torso, right as Drake's flames and Ifrit's fireball hit her. It was impossible to tell exactly which attack did the job, but she didn't even have time to scream. A burning corpse was all that remained of Jessica Schlesinger.

Freed from her mental influence, the zoo animals began to mill about in confusion. Most ran desperately from the flames and the firepower thrown by the Xeaforge forces, several leaving the zoo entirely.

A detachment of Ohio National Guard troopers, attracted by the gunfire and general sounds of combat, poured into the zoo, rifles at the ready. Taking in the wandering animals, powered armors, superpowers and mythological creatures on display, the soldiers could do little more than watch in confusion, trying to figure out who were friends and who were foes.

WYOMING STREET

Ajax was stunned by Acid Striker's ferocity, as well as the fact that his shield was slowly melting and buckling before his eyes. The man had cut his teeth on gangsters and drug dealers- bona fide Caught supervillains were a little more than he was used to tackling. But as befits a man whose courage outweighs his sense, Ajax gathered himself and pressed the attack. He first hurled several small, sharpened discs from a pouch on his belt, intended as a distraction from the true attack- a vicious slam into Acid Striker with his shield.

Teucer, meanwhile, let his arrow fly, but cursed as the acid on his foe's body ate through the delicate head, leaving only a fiberglass shaft.

BEACHWOOD PLACE MALL

While the responding police had yet to come across the confrontation between Phoenix and Sun Rising, they did succeed in battering past the crude barricades and making their way inside the mall, to find several injured but no dead. There was a palpable sense of relief among first responders as they took the injured to safety.

Among the responders was more than a few journalists, eager to report on the first major battle to be fought in Cleveland since the breakout. Press was arriving from all over the world.

“Simon Lowell, BBC News,” one man introduced himself in an extremely polished RP accent. He politely held a microphone to the first superhero he was able to find. “Might I ask what happened here?”

THE FLATS

“Pokerface knew something. He specifically told me something big was going down the first day of summer,” the muscular man whispered to himself, kicking angrily at an empty can. In an A-shirt and jeans, the sheer size of the man was obvious, muscles obviously built from hard labor rather than time in the gym.

The stylized happy face mask, however, suggested some of his workouts came from somewhere else. He was known by the name Mr. Nice Guy, and he was the sole superhero operating in Toledo, Ohio.

“He knew something. He knew this was gonna happen. What else did Pokerface know?” the big man muttered to himself. After a few mumbled curses, he sighed. “This is hopeless. Maybe Pokerface had notes or something, but God knows where he kept them. I'm gonna need help.”

Shaking his head, Mr. Nice Guy jumped into his car- a vintage '67 SS Camaro, rusting but otherwise well-tuned, and sped off in search of answers or anyone who might help him with his current dilemma.

He missed, that was the first thing that happened. She'd moved and then he'd rolled to face her...

Then she was engulfed in a whole load of fire, so much so he had to throw his arms up over his to shield himself. He felt pain as the intensity of the heat burned away at the skin of his arms as he let out a stereotypical "Uryghaaaaaaaaa."

When he brought them down the only thing left was a burning corpse.

Damn.

Damn!

He was burning mad now! Why did that have to happen? He just wanted to....urghhhh! Where was that stupid armor girl? Where was she? She was so stupid that, if she were still in punching range, he was going to knock her across the park for being stupid. Stupid! Stupidstupidstupid!!!

(Basically readying an action. If Pearl is still close to the impact zone and hasn't dodged or been hit by Ifrit's fire he's going to sock her one! If she was hit by it he's still going to punch her, just not as hard. If she dodged out of punch range Danny's going to close distance to her.)

The small disc hit Striker but with no avail as they were easily melted with know his whole body covered in the acid. The pavement below their feet was even starting sizzle with the green goo slowly melting it. "You really think these little things will stop me!!!" Striker yelled looking at one of the disc hit him in the arm but rapidly disintegrate but looked up to late as the hero slammed him with his shield. The impact was strong enough to knock the villain a few feet into the sidewalk. He was not expecting such an attack from his opponent but quickly got up as his brother shot the arrow into his abdomen melting it.

"Your next." He said with a smirk and then turned his attention back to the shieldman. Striker saw that the shield was almost done for the acid and bullets had done their job and as he starred at it another chunk dropped to the pavement.

"I'll say it Roman-or I mean Greek man it's been fun."He then focused on his right arm as it started morphing and stretching into a blade like construct made from his vile acid. "But sadly it comes to an end!" Striker then rushed the man with his construct aiming right for Ajax's chest where hopefully it would go through the shield.

Diamonds Are Forever Workshop

The sound of metal clanking and striking. The hiss of metal quenching gently. The slow sound of a gemstone being cut into smaller pieces for further work. Such were the sounds that the neighbours of Diamonds Are Forever had become used to in the years that the Krim family had lived and worked in the shop that was now owned by the young business man Alistair Krim, heir to the workshop and inheritor of the skills his father and mother both held. The red haired youth adorned in a smith’s apron slammed the hammer down on the thin bar of silver he was using to craft the final ring of the set he had been commissioned for. Alistair wiped the thin layer of sweat from his brow that formed from the heat of the the metal. He huffed gently, his wrist sore from the repeated hammering that the rings required. The setting complete for the ring, Alistair looked at the small jade stone he had set aside previously. The Jade stone had a small coiled snake designed in the center of the stone. Alistair set the green stone into the ring and placed the finished ring into a small case that help two gold rings and another silver one. Alistair smiled gently and took off the smiths apron, needing a shower before he stepped out into the city.

A shower and a change of clothes later, Alistair pulled on his set of rings on to his fingers. The gold and silver sets sparkled slightly in the sunlight. Alistair placed the gilded blackened helmet over his head. Alistair Krim had become the masked ‘villain’ known as Mythica. Holding the briefcase in one hand, Mythica clenched a hand in to a fist as he stepped out. The feeling of gravity losing its hold was immediate as the ring of the Phoenix released a small portion of its power. Mythica shot into the sky, enjoying the feeling of freedom his ‘powers’ gave him. Alistair was one of the Caught, though his power was a little less obvious than most of the Caught that had become active in Cleveland.

-Some Time Later-

Mythica dropped to the street gently, the Phoenix ring glow settling down in to nothing as the power seeped away. Mythica was meeting with a man that called himself The Chairman, despite the fact that most people know the underground magnate’s persona and his identity. Mythica stood in the dark of a parking garage of the city. Happy he decided a mask needed an open mouth plate, Mythica took a cigarette from his pocket. The Dragon ring glowed gently as a small flame ignited on his finger. Using the flame to lit the smoke, Alistair took a long drag. The acrid smoke filling his lungs, Alistair felt slightly calmer with the tobacco in his system. Mythica stood and waited, the only light in his dark corner being the small tip of his cigarette igniting with every drag.

Pearl continued to fire until Ifrit moved into the sky in his fire form. Losing sight of their target, the LADs moved back to Pearl and the soldiers, who switched target to the dragon that was approaching. "Shit, is that a real dragon?" One of the Xeaforge personnel asked, as he let off some shots. Out of the corner of her eye, Pearl saw Mama Bear dodge something-

And straight toward Pearl and her forces. This meant that though the bullet hit Mama Bear, the twin efforts of the dragon's fire and Ifrit's fire hit both her and Mama. The impact itself was enough to send her to the ground, and while the other humans used their LTPs to escape the fire quickly, the four drones melted extremely quickly. Thankfully, Pearl's armour held up against the flames, however inside she felt very hot. "ANAI, overflux, now!" She shouts. Of course, with the jetpack offline to conserve energy, it took several seconds to get it online, all the while, Pearl was moaning in pain from the heat, feeling her left arm being burned slightly as the armour struggled to hold back the heat. Suddenly, there was a cracking sound, and Pearl shot out of the flames at full speed, impacting on a nearby wall before her pack could her slow down. "Warning! Warning!" ANAI cried out. "Suit power overload! Disabling systems. Warning! Warning! Suit overheat! Requesting Essence-Crystal ejection." ANAI's words made Pearl think. The suit was extremely hot, but was rapidly cooling, however disabling her only weapon by removing the artifact inside would make the progress a whole load faster. "Denied." She says. There were too many people around, and she couldn't risk someone else getting hold of the weapon. "Keep the overhead view online, but keep most systems offline to power up faster." She says. In the overhead camera, she could see the Xeaforge security moving into position around her, keeping her still, injured form protected. However, seeing that they were very heavily outnumbered, they didn't fire. Even Pearl knew that they wanted to surrender, and she agreed with them. "ANAI, announce our surrender. We shouldn't have helped the criminal." Pearl says sadly.

"Attention, attention. We surrender. Repeat, we surrender." ANAI declares through the exterior speakers, in a loud voice. The Xeaforge Security forces keep their guns raised but not firing, scanning for immediate threats such as the National Guard. Two mean had their rifles trained roughly in the direction of the blue man, who looked like he lifted cars instead of weights. Faint mumbling could be heard from the soldiers as they communicated under their helmets, through their radios. "Arron suggests getting out of here. The national guard don't look very friendly. Paul agrees and claims that they wouldn't follow them into Xeaforge. He'd heard people make up rumours that we have defensive systems that can keep out the entire city of Washington DC." Pearl chuckles, and figured that she'd need to thank the team later. "I agree. Get a MK1 ready, just in case anyone follows when we head back." Pearl says, laying still. It felt kind of nice, being surrounded by men trying to protect her, and just laying there.

With every step she took, Dean backed away. “Help? You can not help. You may think we see the world wrong, but there is truth to it. He just has not found the right way.” Damn, she wasn’t letting up. Dean continued in a sideward manner, if he could only just make it past the girl. But he couldn’t help but put on a huge grin at the mention of killing Uprising. “Ha, kill him? What use would I have for him then?” He gazed over at Tess who was only mere feet away. A grin of laughter turns to wickedness. “Your friend on the other hand… Very stupid angel girl…” He aims the revolver directly at Tess and pulls the trigger, making a break for it right after. The car was right there, he was so close…

"Hey stupid guys!" Danny said, climbing to his feet before the Xeaforge security. "Do you not understand what surrender means? It means put your guns down, morons! Otherwise it's not a surrender! Do you want more people to die today or something!? Huh!? Are you still that eager to shoot somebody!?" He stomps his foot. "Surrender for real you dumbasses!"

Grace found herself freed from the attack shortly, but her sting and bird bites still ached. At least Mama Bear was-

When Grace turned to see Mama Bear she wasn't thrilled. Mostly because the department would blame this on her somehow. A witty pun in this situation was not forthcoming either, which made this situation feel a little bit worse. At least the animals were safe and the National Guard had arrived. Maybe they had a medic so that she could try to treat her wounds. That was when she realized that The Suit was on the ground and not moving. A voice, decidedly not The Suit's, had said that they surrendered.

The Blue Hulk said that they should properly surrender and Grace had to agree with him. Even though it hurt to move right now, she had to at least stop someone else from making a dumb move today. "Hey listen, your boss there is probably really injured and let's face it, metal is not something tends to help you not burn," Grace offered. "At the very least, take off your armor so that you're not roasting in it. I know that at least I don't care about secret identities and the like."

When he directed his sights towards Tess, Phoenix immediately expanded her wings. The bullet pierced her left wing, at the speculum area of the secondary feathers. It was enough to disable her wings, until she next regenerated. She let the force of the bullet send her wings backwards, and she folded them behind her as she took just two steps, and tackled Dean to the ground, though his back was turned to her. She pinned him down from behind, straddling his back to keep him secure. Though her robotic arm looked the same as her human one, as both were covered in identical armor, it was obviously much stronger; therefore, she used her left arm to grab the gun, crushing it in her steel grip. With her other hand, she grabbed that arm, and yanked it back, dislocating it from his shoulder. She made sure not to tear the rotator cuff, but to put extreme pressure on his nerves.

Without his gun, and without the ability to use his dominant arm until receiving medical attention, Dean did not pose a threat to her. Seeing the approaching police vehicles, Phoenix held the dominant arm in a still position with her right hand, the gun crumpled into a useless piece of scrap metal in her left. Dropping the gun to the ground by Dean's head, so that he could see it, she folded her left wing around, so that she could see the injury caused by the bullet. The force from the bullet had fractured her elbow, and broken off the tips of several of her feathers. She retracted her wings into her back, and unsheathed her sword with her left hand. The sunlight refracted off of the steel brightly, signaling to the law enforcement officers her position. She spoke a few words under her breath.

A wave of shock passed over Dean as the force of Phoenix’s body lurched him forward. The unconscious Uprising’s body would fall from his arms and land just ahead of where the other two fell. His screams of agony could be heard all around the area from the pain of having his arm dislocated. Dean desperately writhed under Phoenix in an impossible attempt to free himself, his left arm clawing on the concreate. Blackness started to penetrate the edges of his vision as the crumpled remains of his former firearm fell in front of him, and her words would echo in his mind before passing out from the pain.
