OP for the OOC as well for convenience. The second OOC post is a CS with a few guidelines. Look through the Characters tab to see everyone on the mech team (AKA Lance) and see how your character can fit in, team-composition-wise.
So far we have a 1. melee stealth assassin, 2. ranged support-tank, 3. short-to-medium ranged initiation tank, and 4. long-ranged heavy bombardment artillery.
So one issue that needs to be addressed is all pilots were supposed to congregate at a certain location (the space elevator of the planet Pythagoras) and were then ferried to the carrier, the carrier will then make a hyperspace jump in 12 hours. Since your character was not there at the time, we would need to come up with a reason for that. I can think of three that would work: 1. for whatever reason, your character knew they wouldn't make the meeting, but will arrive a few hours later than the others but make it to the carrier in time for the hyperspace jump, 2. your character previously had another profession within the fleet (technician, medic, scientist, etc.) and is accustomed to arriving on the ship with others of the same profession, this time, in a ferry that would come just a bit later than the pilots. Of course, you can use any valid reason you can think of, 3. your character is at the jump destination and will be picked up when the carrier arrives.
It will probably be better if you get your character onto the carrier sooner rather than later so you don't have to wait as long to RP.
