History: Born in central Maryland, Jace grew up in a small town and had a decent life until he had about a half dozen seizures over as many months during the seventh grade. Jace quickly changed from being an outgoing guy who made friends quite easily to a quiet, introverted, somewhat distrustful teenager who is still recovering from the blow that the subsequent depression dealt him. By the time he reached high school, Jace had a small core group of friends that he trusts with his life. He has also learned over the years to either put himself into a position that would be advantageous to him or push others into situations that would send good things in his direction. The last week before he finished his high school career, he noticed an island in the sky and sensed an opportunity to make up the lost time in middle school. He found an ad online for a school that you can only apply to if you have seen an island in the sky.
