Music is the one place I appear to be lacking in...simply because I can't do it <<
I didn't know you played, Jig Lennon. Good on you! I own an acoustic guitar and frankly I'm terrified of it <<


I have precisely zero musical talent. It's just about finding the ways that you can work well with somebody that can adapt their teaching style to suit them and, yes, practice.

If you want to tit about with some music, I really recommend getting a shitty cheap ukulele. Shouldn't set you back more than $20, and there's only four strings, and almost all of the basic chords are dead easy. Obviously it gets more challenging as you start to think about different kinds of chords and playing individual notes rather than just chords to sing over.

The best part is, it's so cheap that if you don't like it, you haven't really lost anything, and if you, like me, do, you can upgrade to a serviceable piece of kit for very little (in the musical instrument world).

Greetings from the fey wild, kids. I'm hanging out at an extended family's cabin in the woods. So no writing for me at all today, I'm afraid.

The good news is, I got a few pics of the lake here. But I didn't hear people sneaking out to it at night.

So, basically, everybody's having a Wolf Manor experience. I'm having to try to use German in situations I'm not capable of; Flavs is chilling by a lake; and Cops is being spoilt rotten on holiday.

Bliss has gone off to enjoy her super awesome trip with her company and I'm so jealous, but she'll have so many great stories to tell when she's back! :D
As for Marci, she's having breakfast. I'm not sure if Gray can just fireman carry her to the lake but we should wait for her if Gray said he'd take her...
Lynn will be at the lake for a good while so don't worry! :)

Okay, we've heard from Kirah, Bliss, Ginger and Flavia this section, but nothing from @TheMaster99 and @CallTheCops. Should we be expecting anything from you for the breather section? Either of you might have said earlier but I'm stoned now and don't remember now, and plans can change anyway. :P

I'm currently Jiggaling juggling upper level summer courses and the fact that I'm staying at a friend's house (drinking expensive Rose and discussing the nature of reality because despite being born a middle class New Yorker, at heart I actually am an elderly southern gentleman).

As Ginger said, if we want to have Bliss with us to do this lake scene then we will have to wait a bit. But if she's not back by Monday-Tuesdayish, then I will be back up in my own cheap rented student summer housing and free to move on without her sorrowfully continue past the absence of a dear friend.

Kewl. So we're waiting on the collab from Cops&Bliss, anything from TM99 if he isn't studying he can be fucked, and a short one from Flavs. Is that about right?

Second thoughts:

If the above is about right, I'm gonna suggest we're just waiting on the respective placeholders so we can crack on.

Do You Want to Go to the Lake: Oh my yes.
For What Activity? Fishing. Also Jonas might be trying to get a closer look at the lake in general, the sneaky Pete.
Would You Ask the Wolfs if Necessary? Yup.
Would You Initiate the Visit? Yes'm. He's probably going to ask Evelynn, and then if she isn't up to it go fishing without her anyway.

Should I get the 'ask the Wolfs' part done in my upcoming post?
