I haven't had a story where the chat was through PM unless that was where our story was taking place. I will turn down a story if the person I am writing with isn't at least a little bit chatty because I know I will eventually lose interest. The OOC keeps the story alive because there is constant brain storming going on or there is a connection with your partner that makes you want to reply.

I have had a few PM out of the blue on my other account, none have worked out yet :( My other story is through PM, sadly. I would love for you to read it if it wasn't on PM. I had one good one going for a while that I miss. My partner just stopped writing about a month ago.
