the best reference i can recall comes from the series Nuka Break regarding ghouls and radiation. whether or not it can be considered cannon or not is questionable, and i mean very questionable as in you could debate back and forth given how involved they got with bethesda at the end.

Also any comments/concerns on the profile i posted? i'd be more than happy (slightly thrilled) to get feedback from even the people who have also applied for the RP. any input on how your characters would react to him?

Jason Bright is a non-feral glowing one likely because he was exposed to just enough radiation to make him a glowing one, but not in such a huge amount that it turned him feral. This was a result of low-level radiation, and the glowing ones that do enjoy higher levels are not regularly experiencing 2000 Rads per second, they would be more in the realm of 10-15 Rads per second.

Ghouls are not some magical species of superhuman that can survive every kind of radiation the world throws at them. They are living things, and even if those living things gain an advantage from being in the presence of some radiation, their organs and nervous systems would be completely destroyed by the levels described in the river.

I'm still neck deep in finals but my CS is almost done, I'll probably have it ready soon.

I still need to finish the information post. The GM and I have both been busy. We're also waiting on one person who may or may not be joining us.

This will start soon, we won't wait on this other person forever. I need to read over the characters again and I will be making an approved characters section.

@Xartarin Memphis isn't really a settlement, but I guess it probably has one or two settlements within it of course. There are UAF outposts, Supermutant territories, and a few raider bases. I'd have to ask Valais if there was much else.

Hey Valais, Balmung said I should drop by and post a CS. Quick question first though, would it be possible for me to have an M40a3? Or Any of the other respective variants?

my god it's a group full of marksmen XP. how many snipers do we have?

Also @DirtyDingo that's the standard unamed sniper rifle in the fallout series for the most part. it's modeled after that one for the most part.

My apologies, Balmung informed me y'all only had one sniper. Scratch that then. I'll drop her sniping skillset and just make her a little better at tech-stuffs.

hey hey, don't knock a party full of snipers. sides, we got a mutie. anything gets close is going to have a bad day. also don't take my word for it. that was what i saw the last time i looked over everyone's character sheets in detail. I don't claim to be an expert on everyone's character so i'd advize you to look at them all yourself. heck we didn't have anyone who used energy weapons so i made a energy weapon user. also has a pip boy so getting lost as long as they have the coordinates of the location isn't likely.
