Stopped short with his blade the moment it didn't connect, releasing a hand from the blade's pommel, bringing his now free arm up to block the oncoming boot. He used the reversal of momentum to push his opponent backward forcefully, possibly sending him toward his own ally(Aki) back first and [u]maybe even causing him to release his weapon[/u]. His eyes darting between targets momentarily, focusing on his main attacker solely.

So explain to me how that made any sense, in one post he has the gun and now another it's magically in his holster. Even if, had that whole underlined process he would have been vulnerable for attack. Diving out of the way after rolling out of the way from a countered attack makes no sense either.
