Following a small white pallet, Pac-Man quickly gobbles it up as he lands on a platform that was next to Peach. He had seen her before, during the glory days of Smash, and knows that she was not a threat. However, he looks upon the battlefield and sees shadow versions of Peach's people. He knew that they must not be under her command and felt sorry for the Princess. Where was Mario when you really needed him?

Neither less, Pac-Man holds his arms up, ready to fight the Toads if they decided to attack. He cannot speak, but his actions says it all.
