Nagi looked at the bus before them, right away he reached up and grabbed a hold of the door's handle. He pulled on it but with no avail it was locked. Well ok that's not what I was counting... He smacked the side of the door lightly and then looked around, the two of them were still in the clear. Regardless of that fact they needed to get out of the school grounds. He peeked his head around the corner and saw that the front gate was really close and the area around it was clear enough for the two of them to make their way there.「Ok Janet we are going to be leaving school grounds on foot.」Without anymore words he peeked around the corner one more time before dashing out from behind the bus straight towards the gate.

She followed him quickly trying to be as quiet as possible as they neared the gate, the screams of the students and teachers noticeably getting quieter and quieter as they escaped through the gate.

「Alright we are clear you can relax now.」Nagi stood up straight as he hid behind the concrete wall near the entrance.「So anywhere you need to go before we go find a place that's safe from these things?」Seeing as there school sat at the top of a hill he could see over the houses and such with ease. Looking past the houses and into the city it seemed as if the whole city was already overrun and there really was no other place to go in this city that would actually be considered safe. Every now and again a few military jets flew overhead as well as helicopters but those were going to be no help to them at the moment.

"I need to check on my adopted family, I want to make sure they are alive"she said trying to steady her voice and her ponding chest "Sorry for panicking back there..." she said with a blush staining her cheeks

「Alright luckily my family isn't in town so I don't have to worry about them but if we can find phone signal I will have to check up on them, let's go ahead and take care of what you need to do.」He looked around in the hopes of finding some kind of blunt weapon, but his luck wasn't the greatest and ended up not finding a single thing to protect them.「Looks like we will need to find something to protect ourselves with along the way so let's try to stay quiet and keep those things from being alerted by our presence.」Before moving any more he looked back at Janet.「You will need to lead the way since I have no clue where we need to go.」

She nodded "C come with me, I know a short cut" she said heading for an alley way they was almost hidden if you werent't for it, her shoes making little sound as possible which was amazing since she was wearing short heel boots that made her a little taller than normal Once they reached the end of the driveway, she gasped and covered her mouth, the entire neighborhood before them was crawling with those dead things. "Oh my god, this poor neighborhood" she said weakly her eyes flooded with tears as she looked around. Luckily luck was on her side and she saw a rifle laying on one of the driveways and she picked it up

As Luna went off to grab the rifle in the driveway Nagi followed close behind her doing the recon from his position, every now and again he would look all around them to be sure that none of these things were near them. Once the two of them began moving away from the car, Nagi immediately grabbed Luna and yanked her towards him right into him covering her mouth just in case she started to protest his actions. Looking down at her Nagi pressed a finger against his lips signaling her to be quiet as soon as he let go. Right as he removed his hand he pointed in the direction the two were going to leave in. Right at that moment one of living dead things slowly dragged it's self by not noticing the two of them.「I am so glad I spotted that before the two of us walked out into the open, we would've been dead...」He whispered quietly as he waited for the threat to pass.

She nodded in agreement before she made her way towards their location entering the houe "Mom...anyone" all she was met was with silence and she walked further into her home looking for any signs of life. She gasped when she went in the living room and she saw a puddle of blood and tears filled her eyes. There was only blood but no sign of a body.

Before Nagi followed closely behind Luna, he made sure the area around their entrance was clear of any threats. Once he confirmed that the two of them would be safe for a little bit he followed her inside the house.「Sorry for the intrusion.」He whispered as he entered in. Luna walked around the house and searched everywhere until she stopped in the living room where before her was a puddle of blood but not a single sign of bodies or life. He approached her quietly and then proceeded to look the other way.「Look Luna, you may not want to hear this from me but this could mean anything ok, it doesn't mean that your family is dead, if anything this could mean you family put up a fight and then did there best to get out.」He then fell silent as he didn't know what else to say, rather he didn't know if his words were any help to her current situation.

She nodded without saying a word but that look of fear was still on her face as she walked towards the backyard of her decimated home looking for any clues that they managed to escape only to come up empty handed. She sat down in the back door her arms wrapped around herself as she tried to convince herself that they might still be alive, wanted to hope they were still alive and safe.

Nagi didn't speak another word, the silence between the two of them started to become very awkward as for a long while it was completely silent, except for the ambient noises that came from the surrounding area outside. He looked down and scratched the back of his head lightly before he opened his mouth to speak.「So what now Luna?」He walked up to her still keeping distance.

She shrugged and sat down sighing looking at the blood in the living room. "I dont know. I really dont. I dont want to go back to the orphanage no one wants a teenager." she said

Nagi took a brief look around before looking at her.「Here's the thing, I don't think there will be an orphanage for you to even go to if this outbreak continues. By the look of things we are on our own.」Nagi sighed and took in the reality of the situation.

"I dont want to return to an orphanage I been there one out many fucking times" she said

「Look considering our current situation there is no way you will end up in an orphanage, unless this problem somehow disappears in a matter of a few weeks. What you need to worry about is surviving because no matter what if you are dead, it won't matter whether you end up in an orphanage or not.」He looked over at her and then at the door.「So shall me move on so that we don't end up dead without even trying?」

She nodded and stood picking up her bag that she packed while she had searched the house "Lets go I have food and water in here in case we need it" she said
