Hurray! Since I don't have a ton of free time, I listen to audiobooks on my commutes and when I exercise. Perhaps that's what helps give me an edge!

Wow... I am sorry about not responding for a bit. I have been swamped with a lot of work and I have been so busy lately. I have a lot of replies to do as well, but I promise my post is coming soon.

I love listening to audiobooks! It makes me happy to find another avid listener! What sorts of books do you enjoy listening to?

No problem. This week I have to work on my final research paper for grad school so even if you responded, I couldn't get back to you right away.

I like fantasy, romance, sci-fi, and classical. Of note, I've listened to the entire published Game of Thrones book series, Anna Karenina, and World War Z. The last one is pretty neat if that's your thing because it's a written dialogue of conversations and they got a variety of voice actors.

Sounds like you been busy. I'm glad my taking a little bit longer than was alright though. What are you going to school for? I should have replied to this sooner, so I could have wished you luck on your finals. Better late than never I guess. So, good luck!

We are very similar in our tastes. At least, the genres make me think so. I haven't gone through any of the series you mentioned, but I might have to put them on my list of eventual books to look into. I think I may have the first game of thrones novel... I'll have to double check.

Sorry, things have been so busy. I finally have found some time to work on replies. I feel bad that I don't really pay attention to the out of character section. I'll try to make a concerted effort to check it more.

And I am fine with a time skip unless you were planning on having something jump out of the woods . :)

-sigh-... I'm sorry that my activeness is so sporadic. I must admit to my interest level fluctuates in accordance to how much outside conversation is going on. I need to do better at actually engaging conversation, especially if I like the story so much. Which I do. A lot. I was wondering if you would like to have some sideline chatting with me. Either in a PM or via AOL Instant messenger or email...? I don't readily notice if there are new posts in the out of character section. Case in point, I didn't notice that you had answered my question earlier. I think it is really cool that you are going to school for biology and teach science in school. What level?

I think we both need very different things out of a RPG partner. You would like someone who is able to spend a good amount time socializing with you outside the story while I don't and very soon can't. In a few weeks I'll be back at school and in the process of gearing up for my first child. I have time to socialize outside my RL now but in the near future I won't. At this point, I think it's best to admit that while the story line is going well and although we both have a good writing ability, we should stop here.

It was fun while it lasted. Good luck in the future!
