Aldric crept up behind the doe, lasso in hand as his father entered the bakery. He could hear the baker's son screaming inside. Now, usually the best place to get a lasso was around the beast's neck, unfortunately this best had it's head shoved into a window. So in this instance Aldric would have to get creative. 

He got close enough the the doe that he could easily just grab it, however even if he did keeping that grip would be nearly impossible. So he took the lasso, maneuvering the rope around the doe's leg. Aldric was very meticulous to ensure the beast was unaware of his presence. Finally he looped the rope around it's leg, tying a slipknot to form a loop. 

The young ranger pulled the rope tightening the loop around the doe's leg, he dug his heel into the ground preparing for quite the struggle. If it bolted Aldric was going with it.
