Technically, Lume could fly. Though she would get tired eventually and have to rest, probably much, much sooner than a chocobo would have to. Plus her having a chocobo is adorable. >.> <.< Will ours have different colors, out of curiosity? Al'durian is white, which sets her apart (which is great for a chocobo knight). I don't need to be terribly unique or anything, just a physical identif--- OH MY GOD CAN MINE BE A FAT CHOCOBO? THAT WOULD BE THE CUTEST

Hey guys currently working up a post for Wallas. I am at work at the moment.... Yes it is 04:47am and i am at work lol... please bear with me

Was thinking that once we're in the mine it would be a good idea to swap and have Wallas take lead temporarily as he is the most experienced excavator. We need to buy drilling and mining supplies before we leave, maybe have them in a carriage behind one of the chocobos?

(Wallace gets a bonus on knowing what the inside of a magicite mine looks like. Its not as easy as using a simple tool to get that stuff out. It requires an unheathy amount of magic to procure a gram of it from the wall. If you plan on striking it then you may want to reconsider since that involves an explosion of energy. [Those of you who played ff12 know what im refering to.] so pick axes are about as effective for getting magicite as it would be a fork to clean out gunk from a dirty wallsocket.)

Yeah i was hoping on securing soke kind of magic sourced machina that excavates. Maybe drilling throug the rock face and detonating magic energy to free the magicite?

I bet a flare or a gravija would cause magicite to be extracted... but then again those two magics are kind of like artilery barrage and owuld probably collapse the entire mine if used inside... Well here is the more proper question then, how do they usually extract the magicite then? They clearly have been excavating it for a while, how have they been doing it?

Yall have to figure out how the cultists are doing it. :) that or how Que is doing it but.... Que isn't exactly filled with the right kind of magicite and its a bit far away.

okey let me confirm something first, is magicite that hard of an ore? Cause generally to mine hard ore, you need just somethign harder or equal lol

EDIT: THough I do have a way in mind, that is fool proof and will work every time. In fact ancient egyptians have used it for hteir tunnels. IF we can't bring only the magicite, we might as well bring it along with the stone and then proceed with refining it.

Magicite is like crystal. You're certainly getting close to the answer of how to extract it without causing explosions.

And Im not sure what you mean by that edited last part.

It simple really. You take pickaxes, wooden spikes and a few buckets of water. You use said picks to make small holes in the rock. Then you place wet wooden spikes inside the holes. Naturally as physics would ahve it, as the wet wooden spikes stay, they will cool down and in the process expand. If you have like a bunch staked in the wall, the expanding wood will cause the whole are to crackle and break down. This is an ancient method used by the anceint egyptians I think. Thus we break a lot of rocks with magicite in them, then we just bail out along with the unrefined ore still hiddin within ght rocks. They should have a way of properly extracting it at Navire.

Nice! I was going to suggest something like that, perhaps with more of a geomancer's touch. I think it's a solid plan though.

Its good that the party has a plan of action. The other problem would be the cultists now as well as any creatures we encounter along the way.
