There were barely any signs, any sounds or indication that Adrian had shot his arrow. There was only a tiny whisk from his bow; so soft it could barely be considered a whisper. Isen'roy instinctively sensed the imminent danger and acted accordingly. He tilted his blade ever so slightly to create an angle. It wasn't that Isen'roy didn't believe in his own strength, it was simply years of experience telling him to not underestimate his foe. Adrian was not a pushover, he noticed that several moments after the fight began. Regardless of powerful the penetration force of an arrow, if it contacts an angled surface, the majority of the kinetic energy would dissipate as it is redirected away. That was exactly what happened. The arrow bounced off and headed in the direction of Ashaad. With that, his vision returned and Isen'roy had full view of Adrian who was preparing to fire a second arrow. He made a beeline towards him. Regardless of whatever barriers he could conjure, Isen'roy was confident he could blow them away if they were created that hastily. Simply charging towards him also accomplished similar effects as the actions he made earlier; he knew exactly where the arrows would come from. [@Against This][@TheDarkTemplar]
