Gallade's psychic mind reached only so far then trying to find anything became like reaching into the mud for anything but the lukewarm mess.

"If not then we can carry on. We've wasted a bit of time standing still." Kanobu leaped to the next branch but instead he was intercepted like a ball, caught by the horn of a beetle similar to the last one.

"HA! Trying to sneak past us?" A man said. He stood on a branch further away, apparently able to see so easily at a distance in the night. "Shinobi of the leaf are weak."
