History: Snake J. O'Hennessey was born on Phobos, the largest of Mars' satellites. Phobos was a little too crampt and overpopulated, leading to many of it's districts to house the poorest percent in the solar system. Fathered by a military man with no mother, Snake found himself finding friends in dark places. Throughout most of his young life Snake was active in gang activity, usually involving robbing small convenience stores or picking fights.

At the age of eighteen, Snake was arrested for nearly beating a store clerk to death. Snake's father disowned him as soon as he got word from the police, ashamed of his son. Snake would spend three years in the Phobos jail system, facing harsh conditions and eventually joining a prison gang for protection. At the age of twenty-one, Snake was enlisted into the Marines as a wildlife exterminator. This section of the Corps was infamous for usually consisting of suicide missions and convict soldiers. Despite the odds, Snake lived through every mission with a kill count almost unseen until his enlistment.

Years later, far after his sentence was served and his debts to society paid, Snake still fights in the Outer Rim slaughtering wildlife and fellow humans alike. Maybe he is broken from his years in jail and on the front...or maybe he loves the violence too much.
