As for his copycat RP, hey good luck to him, I don't hold copyright over any of my ideas. In my opinion, more GMs should play more of a dungeon master role - playing a character and trying to moderate is too much for me.

But now I'm a little concerned that you're unable to heed instructions. How did you miss the mention? And you obviously didn't read the character sheet "stuff stuffies", that gave very clear directions.
