Kuroda Daichi

Kuroda's body, still levitating a reasonable distance from the ground, had been surrounded by the druid students called over by Leval. As the healers worked, a transparent glow radiated from their hands, tending somewhat to his loss of heat. Through his unconsciousness, the Nocturne's mind raced in a loop about the events that led up to this outcome. The Succubus had planned it out, possibly using Daichi as a guinea pig to test the extent of her powers. Kuroda's eyebrow twitched at the thought. Why me? Out of the many creatures present in a school of such prestige, Nuna chose Daichi and consumed his energy in a place for everyone to see. He clenched his hands weakly by his sides before they fell limp once more. Embarrass me in front of the whole school, huh? Just you wait, succubus... While this brooding occurred, the Nocturne mumbled something incomprehensible under his breath. By that time, he had enough energy returned to him, making it possible for him to open his eyes. Slowly, his eyelids remained shuttered as his irises became partially visible. They had not retained their original luster, his amber eyes dull with grogginess. Daichi carefully brought a hand to rest on his forehead, letting out a groan of vexation once he had gathered his bearings. Although his senses were impaired, he managed to snap out of his trance-like state. "Ugh... too bright..." He spoke with a raspy voice, moving to shield his sensitive eyes with the backs of his hands. Once it was evident that he had come back to life, the two students tending to him stepped back and allowed him some room to regain his center of balance. Noticing that he wasn't quite on the ground, he figured a fellow gravitist had aided in his recuperation as well. "-hey, I think I can stand now." He called out in general, unsure of who was supporting him. Eventually, his feet were planted firmly on the ground and all of his weight returned to him in an instant, nearly knocking him back onto the cold surface of the floor. The Nocturne nodded his head at the students who had assisted him and gave them his thanks. Still feeling a bit unsteady, Kuroda made his way over to one of the nearby tables, sinking into a seat with little to no enthusiasm. He exhaled heavily and turned the chair to face the others, straddling the seat and folding his arms over the back to rest his head. "Man, I'm beat and the day hasn't even started..." Kuroda eyes became half-lidded once he had settled into his position, fighting back the urge to sleep that was looming over him. The moon won't be out for a while, so I'm screwed until then. The Nocturne gritted his teeth as images of the Succubus played in his head. Because of that woman, I'm left in such a weak and helpless state. What the hell is wrong with me? I should have known better- succubi are even more cunning than most other races out there. He furrowed his brows as he raked his mind for any solutions. How am I supposed to deal with her? My rep is probably torn to pieces 'cause I seem like a wuss. I gotta redeem myself. As he pondered in silence, he struggled to keep his eyes from closing once again, and he drifted off into a light sleep.
