Zero growled as the man seemed unphased by either of his attacks. Luckily Gideon was back on the offensive. That was good. But now what could Zero do? He tried thinking of some form of plan, but he couldn't get anything. And if he did think of something, he would need to make sure Gideon wasn't in the way. However, as he prepared another attack Gideon called for a stop. [color=purple]"What?!"[/color] He snarled before actually seeing what the young man was doing. Fuck... How could he not have noticed? This guys scent. The attacks that actually hit. No way. But... It didn't work. The mage shouted. But strangely enough. He didn't seem to be trying to hurt the girl right now. 

Then, Zero heard it. The little girl screamed a word. One word and the man seemed to shudder. [color=purple]"Daddy? Daddy?!"[/color] He was shocked when he heard this, but even more he was getting angry. He walked. He didn't run or charge. [color=purple]"This is a joke right?"[/color] He asked, disbelief evident in his voice as he approached the mage. [color=purple]"I mean, there's no way you could be her father. Right? B-because if you were her father. That would mean you were sitting here, letting her cry. Listening to her scream at the top of her little lungs and not doing a damn thing."[/color] Of course, Zero would avoid, or try to match anything the man threw at him.

[color=purple]"What?! Talk to him?! That's your thing! Not mine!"[/color]
[color=violet]"Just do it! You have a lot to say! I know you do! So do it already![/color]
[color=purple]"Fuck! Fine!"[/color][/i]

He glanced at Gideon and then at Mithera. Had anyone who'd looked into the confines of the girl noticed anything? Anything at all that would be useful? Maybe they had and could do something. But he was more focused on the mage. [color=purple]"You know I was watching you. Try to get everyone away from the girl. Almost like you were protecting her. Now that. That's something a father would do. But there's a limit. Trust me. I know a thing or two about fathers.[/color] Was anything he was saying getting through to this supposed golem? Could he do anything if he couldn't break his way out of the situation or use his magic to crush this guy? No... Maybe they didn't need to crush him. 

[color=purple]"Gideon! Was there anything strange about the girl? Do you see anything that could help?"[/color] This time he had to voice his thoughts. At least like this he and Gideon could probably work something out together. Now he was as close to the mage as he could get. [color=purple]"You need to come to your damn senses. This little girl doesn't need you to lock her up and let her cry and scream. She needs you to release her. Protect her, even if it means protecting her from yourself."[/color] No... This wasn't all he had to say. [color=purple]"Maybe you don't wanna lose her. I don't know you circumstances. But I get not wanting to lose something important to you. A person, a guardian, a loved one. A purpose. Yeah. I get it. But sometimes. Things go out of control. You can't stop it. You lose things. Life just isn't fair like that. So listen up. I don't know what happened. I don't know why you're doing this. But you're going to stop. Not just for the girl, but for yourself."[/color] Zero hoped he got through. He was hoping for the damn best. But if this came to blows again. He was perfectly content with that. He had at least tried it to peaceful way.
