There the figure was, locked into control by Sorom's genjutsu. He could stun his enemy but that was about all for the moment. Distance and lighting were preventing a better result. Yet the shinobi's grip would soon result in a slip for his foe was already working to free himself of the stunning illusion.

Meanwhile Gallade's flank was going well until he too found himself caught in a trap. A Beetle was standing behind the enemy. Locking eyes the two of them were primed for combat. The beetle would begin though, having surprised the Gallade.

Its horns were spiked, reading to pierce the demon in the chest and ram him into a tree as the other did with Kanobu. (Roll to fight that). Unfortunately Gallade could not connect with Sorom at this distance to communicate. It would be up to his natural reactions to avoid harm.

With the combined efforts of the lesser demons, Kanobu was freed from the beetle that pinned him. His arms and chest were harmed the most, with small bruises lined around him. The wind had been knocked out but the lesser demons were prepared to protect their master, even if it meant cooperating with another shinobi to do it. (You've got Haunter and Vuplix to help you).

"Tricky situation we have here." The foe said as the battle between the beetle and demon began behind his back. "But you'll soon realize how you'll not [i]bee[/i] getting out of this alive."
