By the way everyone, i apologise in advance if my post rate drops or my post quality declines. That flu i mentioned a week ago has turned into Pneumonia, so that could affect my posting
Ouch.
All this talk of interspecies mixing got me wondering just how exactly our various species are related so I made up this little chart of evolutionary relations just based on proximity to each other plus similarities in pictures and descriptions.
Interesting chart. I think ignoring genetic technology, it should be determined in advance what species can have, even if rarely or with other consequences like parental death or sterility, live children. And if any species can, who would be the controller of them.
I can change the taxonomy later; I just wanted to use real world groups to give a feeling to the groups and their characteristics. Oddly enough the term Carnivoran doesn't necessarily imply obligate or even strict carnivores. In the real life order, there are several omnivorous carnivorans (Bears and Civets for example) and at least one herbivorous member (pandas)
I never did specify the Platta type, but I imagine them closer to mammals than amphibians. While they do fish and can swim, I imagined it quite weak in ability. They are also omnivores in case that needs to be known. Also, I didn't know that last part.
