Blake stared down at the box in her hands. Her parents had forgotten to give it to her on her sixteenth birthday, even though she was now 17. Although you don't see Blake complaining about it. She didn't want the necklace, she didn't even believe that the necklace was true and worked. Everyone said the color of the gem would match your soul-mate's necklace and Blake honestly thought that was stupid and idiotic. With a sigh Blake finally opened the box and saw that her necklace had a light blue gem. "At least it wasn't a girly color." Blake said to herself as she slipped the necklace onto her neck before running the rest of the way to soccer practice. Blake slipped her hair into a pony tail and joined her team on the field leading them in exercises and stretches since she was the team captain. It was going to be a long practice. After practice, Blake took a quick shower in the locker rooms before throwing on some clothes and heading over to her best friend, Caden's house. When she arrived she knocked on the door since the door was locked. If it had been unlocked she would have walked right in.
