She didn't have to wait long. Reading Jess's text, Ryan's grin grew even broader. The park huh? She flicked a quick text back agreeing, before bounding up and sorting her stuff out. Unplugging the phone she grabbed her brown-grey satchel, dropping her phone in and swinging it over her shoulder, letting it sit on the opposite hip. Grabbing a blue hoodie from her room Ryan pulled on her soft brown army boots, lacing them tight. Leaping down the stairs she called a goodbye to anyone who might be in the house, before swinging her way up the pavement.

The park wasn't too far from her house, so she made it there in good time. Dropping down on a bench she waited, Jess would know where to find her, they had often sat here before, complaining about the world, bragging about new stuff, generally just being friends.

Reaching into her bag, Ryan withdrew her ipod and headphones, slipping them on she thumbed through songs till she found one she liked. Singing softly along she leaned her head back, her foot tapping to the beat.
