David thanked the counselors. Then he gathered his things and looked around for cabin one. After locating it, he entered the cabin and saw that someones things were already here. He assumed that Tony had already been here, so he set his bags on the only other bunk and set the box on the floor next to it. David climbed in the bunk and settled near his bags, he then laid down and closed his eyes and cleared his mind. David was trying to use telempathy, or the feeling of the emotions of others. He had been trying for weeks to master this skill. It works on individual people really well but with larger groups like this he has a hard time differentiating whose emotions are whose. He felt all different kinds of emotions; anxiousness, happiness, hunger, fear, uncertainty, but he also felt something else. He could only describe it as nothingness.  David began to wonder who it belonged to, he had never felt this before and it kind of scared him. He opened his eyes and got up slowly, he always felt numb after going into a trance like that. Then he left the cabin and went to meet the rest of the campers.
