Yeh, but the same book they already read retold from the man's perspective? I figure that'd be the equivalent of being a straight dude watching POV porn from the woman's perspective so that all you see is the dude. 

Also, as far as romance novels go Fifty shades is par for the course. Seriously. If you are ever in a grocery store, pick up a harlequin book and flip through it. You're guaranteed to find the vanilla versions of the same sort of shit.
