My problem isn't with any one thing, it's the fact that he's an all in one package. He's smart, has crazy powerful magic, and lost magic, and he has his own martial art style or whatever it is, and... *sigh* 

Well, it's up to Marc. Maybe he'll be better in practice than he looks on paper. This is just my opinion.
