There's no real need to wait for an excessive time to pass or anything if you feel the need to post, out of turn, either. Just... y'know. The post rotation is more of a guideline to keep some semblence of order. *nods* 

[@lavulman] I suppose a "timely manner" can vary depending on the situation. If we're just watching the sky's color, frankly, you can take all the time you like. We'll just move on. If you're doing something big, which everyone needs to wait for before they can respond, then I would anticipate a reply more quickly. I won't just jump on anything. I'll message ya first and give ample warning.
