Industrial-strength sulfuric acid is not actually all that corrosive. If you set something in it for minutes at a time, it'll definitely corrode, but its main danger is the fact that it [i]burns stuff[/i]. That's why people can store sulfuric acid at all instead of it just eating through the plastic/metal container it's being held in. The biggest danger with being splashed with sulfuric acid is if it gets into any electronics or touches your bare skin.
