More importantly perhaps, what do you feel is lacking from your repertoire? For me, most obviously, is women. I don't feel like I can portray a woman effectively, despite feminist pseudo intellectual bullshit claiming a complete lack of differences between sexes there is clearly huge social disparity and some biological differences between the sexes, and I don't think I can do them justice very well. (Anna is, for the record, my first female character on RPG.) Next up is probably straight up good guys, though I have a smattering of bad people the vast majority of my characters fall into that shade of gray region of neutrality, perhaps because they are the easiest characters to set up fights with, without being a straight up evil bastard. Also, the vast majority of my characters are ordinary humanoids, most even relatively human in nature, I lack Khan's fascination with beasts and monsters.
I'm the opposite for the gender situation (obviously). I don't have too many earthlings either so without the social structures (and slightly differing biology) of earth you can easily assume these points no longer apply. Even with earthlings there would always be exceptions. For example, I'm not the most masculine fellow so there would be plenty of women who would behave more manly than me and kick my butt. I'm opposite for good guys as well (also obvious). I struggle with making people evil because I always try for sympathetic motivations no matter what besides joke characters like Generic McBadblade. I do have some grey characters but most are clearly the good guys. I will try to work on more villains but will still keep them not evil for the sake of it besides a rare few. I have mostly humans but some people who are half monster or whatever. Most of my other animals are joke characters like my samurai alpaca. I'm trying to come up with more serious non-human characters. I also need some other characters not fantasy based and gun users.
