He can make it on his own. Problem is that he has an issue with goingvaround willy-nilly and absorbing everything. He's very picky about only taking what's unimportant.

Antimatter is the opposite of strange matter. Strange matter is just broken down subatomic particles. It's hard to make unless you're Mr. Strange himself.
