Introduction Post
We begin our adventure in Gerwidd, the Land of Man. The kingdom is finally at peace after its internal turmoil over the right to rule, some supporters of the Ferriodors still remain, but most have fled or have been killed. King Buyl sits upon the throne at last, the people of the land pleased to see the scheming Ferriodors put to justice - there heads atop of spikes leading into the capital. Other threats cast a dark shadow over the kingdom, dangerous whispers of a monstrous force of reckoning. More specifically, we begin our journey in the small hamlet of Juridorh on Brawl, with a population of only 73, Juridorh is humble yet, on occasion, bustling with life. Only a stones throw away from the great River Brawl, Juridorh is the first settlement travellers reach after passing over the southern Gerwidd bridge, thus it is visited frequently. Many travelling adventurers, merchants and inevitably criminals pass through here, and so many of the building that make up its petite structure are B&B's and the like, as well as an inn to accommodate the a flux of 'tourism'. The most prominent establishments/buildings are;

Hurl's General Store - Ran by Hurl the Orc and his young daughter Kulley. 'We sell stuff to people, in a general way'
Bridge Tower - Populated by 4-7 guards at a time, the tower is the home to Captain Duri. 'Well you see that Bridge over there, and this tower here? Yes? Now you're getting it.'
Nerner's Saw Mill - The saw mill sits at the edge of The Brawl, using the rivers flow to good use and the nearby forest provides useful resources. The Mill is in fact the only reason the hamlet has grown from the 3-4 houses it began as. It is ran by Nerner and her sons, of which she has 5. 'It's simple really. First you chop the tree, then you strip the tree, then you cart the tree, then you saw the tree, then you sell the tree. Well, the logs or planks I mean...whatever'
The Bears Claws - The Claws is the only Inn in the hamlet and sees most of the population at least once a week. Happily ran by Dundo Bear and his wife Cinder, there is no finer Bluejew Ale in Gerwidd. 'Well, aye, the food isn't the best no. But good luck remembering your name, never mind the taste of the food after tonight. Drink up!'
While most hamlets govern themselves according to Gerwidds laws, Juridorh has its own policing guards that are stationed in the Bridge Tower, a kilometre up stream from the hamlet itself. The large bell that hangs from the hamlets well, above the bucket, can be rang in case of emergency. As adventurers yourselves, you have found yourselves among the many visitors that pass through, and instead of wasting good coin on beds, you have set up a small camp outside of the hamlet, a minutes walk to its centre.
