I was thinking of making a Star Wars roleplay set in either the Galactic Civil War or some time during the Old Republic. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm guessing you mean the Old Republic? Yeah, they're only featured in games and books. It's a lot more lenient than the Galactic Civil War in terms of making our own story, but I enjoy the civil war a hell of a lot more.

Well, the Clone Wars give us a bunch of Jedi and Sith to play with. Along with pretty cool robots. A lot of them are dead during the Civil War. Although, the Civil War would give me a chance to play as one of the few clones left from the Republic... Hm.
