Also, while i feel it'll make for great drama, i should let you know that destroying the cave entrace is essentially a death sentence for the faunas inside. Remembered: they needed that dust to dig further in. The mine is much smaller than you may think. That and it would only take a few hours for them all to suffocate to death is you seal them underground. And yes, the guard is quite aware that this would happen, and is expecting it. If "gunning everyone down" didn't already tip you off on his attitude about the situation.

Basically, he want Team MODA to kill everyone in the mine.

Because there isnt five hundred faunas down there. There was five hundred before shit went down, and obviously things have changed since then. Remember, you're only getting one side of the story, and it doesnt always mean that you're getting the truth. If you really want the character to know what to do, they need to explore their options instead of just doing everything my NPC's tell you. Of course, killing the faunus would be the simple and quick way to finish the mission, if Team MODA feels that this has dragged on for too long. As always, the choice is yours.

Killing everyone inside is easy, it is the thing incendiary is actually used for in our world. Fire one in there and the flames will suck up all the oxygen in one go. The lucky ones choke.

However it won't be what Marcus will go for, I can tell you that much.

Incidentally how many signs were there that the Faunus in the camp were abused? Malnourished Faunus or something? I have a faint feeling this uprising didn't just spring up because a couple of Fang spread some rumours around.

just a heads up ill be travelling monday so wont be able to post till late if I dont fall asleep afterwards. Travelling always seems to take awhile and drains so much out of me sigh.

Good Question! Ask around. The guard can certainly tell you how shady and shitty things were for him. Now just imagine that it's a bit worse for Faunas, but if you want to know the actual details you'd best talk to a faunas. And remember what I told you: This is Rice's fault. And he's just a bureaucrat.

I have no idea what that means but to answer ShadowKiller's question, I believe the options for Kaben were that he scrap it completely it replace it with some other personality trait or addiction that the populous would be less likely to kill Mokuren over or it never be revealed to anyone IC making it for all intensive purposes irrelevant as it would only exist in Kaben's IC posts.

Exactly. The Monkey Invasion was covered up, and stricken from all records. It never happened, to the public's eyes.
