So basically, after a little thing I wrote, I thought it would be pretty funny/cool to have a RP about being a game character and breaking the fourth wall ( Knowing your in a game etc ).

So basically you are a game character interacting in your game, there can be transgame playing - I just want it to be fun. So the average games like COD and maybe WOW, Fallout, Skyrim even a simple game of chess turned into a funny little battle. Anything really.

FOR THE LAUGHS.

Ok, my question is: Why do you think people will be interested in an RP if the only information we know is that it's to do with games?

People like games, the idea is there if they like it. I can't really give to much information sa there are too many games/genres possible to put them all under one categorical rulebook.

Also, God of War showed interest.

Yeah but it's like me saying "Guys we're going to do a War roleplay. If you like war, ask me a question." It's way too vague. You need to at least write part of the story. How do they know they're in a game? Where do they meet up? Do the people who play them know? Do they die? Etc.

@Supercon22 There isn't a story, you pick a game, you pick a character and you go with it, play a heavy in Planetside 2 that sucks with guns but owns with a rocket launcher, or play a Nord who hate Khajit because cats freak him out. I don't mind, just a fun RP to spend a little time doing.

If this turns into a thread the RP'ers can talk between themselves for a meet up and the circumstances. Yes, you know your in a game, but it's your life so its not abnormal. Being killed pisses a COD player off as much as it does a COD character, they have to respawn and run all the way down the map to their team mates only to be killed again by the same dickhead.

If you die in the game, you die in the RP ( But as in most games - you don't really die, you don't really die in the RP).

Hence why I am thinking about calling the RP 'Respawn'.

@Supercon22 It doesn't really need it. I've said what the idea is, just want to see where it goes. The RP itself will have a longer OOC intro and IC examples.

Supercon, the idea is for gamers to make awesome puns and 4th wall breaks with their respective video game characters, and hope others get those jokes and then they make more funny stuff, etc. Or atleast that's what I believe it to be.

Btw, could I get dibs on the "big daddy" from bio shock for my game character?

@GodOfWar Take dibbs on whatever, flexible thing is - even if two people took the same character, that could lead to some funny meetings and "My horse is bigger than your horse" type gaming :P
