Preoccupied with the battle that was heating up nobody, neither the pirates nor the hunters, noticed what was happening underneath them, down on the ground. If they stopped for a moment and paid a little heed to the world around them, they'd have heard it, that soft, rumbling sound. However, by the time majority of the crews of both skyships realized, it was already to late. Suddenly, almost without a warning, both skyships found themselves surrounded by two huge, black shapes. It was like they were suddenly put in a valley between two black mountains. Both had numerous spikes protruding from them, each the size of a skyship. For a moment, the only thing that could be seen from the skyships besides the black shapes was a small part of the blue sky above them, and then the darkness enveloped them. There was a short period of calmness within the abyss, giving an instant to the crews of both ships to process what happened, before a sound of rushing water announced what was coming next. A powerful wave, so strong it tore through the hunter's ship which was first to be hit and destroyed its engines, pushed both skyships downwards. What came next was a spiralling decent into unknown... [center]___________________________________________________[/center] [i][b]DUM[/b][/i] [i]A sound as if a giant drum was struck fills your ears, bringing you back to conciousness. Realizing you are lying on some kind of soft, mushy ground you raise yourself and open your eyes. A sight of a dimly lit area filled with numerous shapes of various sizes greets you as you stumble back on your feet. Due to the weak light the visibility is bad and you have a hard time before you recognize the shapes of bodies. At first glance they all look dead but some of them quickly begin to stir as if to warn you that they are alive. As more and more bodies come back to life you realize that not all of the faces that now appear before you belong to your crew members. Some of your enemies survived as well. [/i] [i][b]DUM[/b][/i] [i]Here comes that drumming sound again and this time you notice a blue lines appearing in the darkness around you, like circuits. All of the lines were spreading out of a single pale source of light in the distance. Strangely, looking directly at the light doesn't harm your eyes, but you still can't recognize what its source. The only way to find out what was creating it would be to go there. But first you have to decide on your next course of action as more and more survivors wake up. A sound of a drop falling somewhere reaches your ears.[/i]
