It was hard to believe they had just gone through everything that disgusting black ooze had caused and somehow, in some way, they came out alright. Her hurt cheek was nothing compared to the look of pure pain on Peter’s face when he realized what he had done. And worse off, she shows up to his house with a [i]lawyer[/i] of all things. Sure… she probably should have thought that one through a little better or she could have sent him into a complete heart attack thinking he was going to get sued but that wasn’t the case. [i]Way to look out for him Lexi, you idiot…[/i] she lectured herself in her mind before placing her hands on her hips and overlooking the city. It was so peaceful but, soon, it was going to get a new awakening; the realization that Spider-Man was back! She could sense a presence behind her but it wasn’t threatening. Black Cat slowly turned around to see Spider-Man hanging upside down, her mouth piece was up and she showed her full lips and white teeth with her installed and sharpened canine teeth that she always wore. “Good to hear.” She said softly, reaching up and gently rolling down his mask so she could kiss him on the lips. It was nice to see that she could take off his mask if needed; when he was in the black suite there was never a reason to and, come to think of it, she never saw him actually take off the mask; it would always just sort of be, well gone. Removing her lips from his she pulled the mask back up and gave him a smirk. “No more sleeping on the job Spidey.” She said with a purr to her voice as she stepped back from him and placed a foot on the rooftop’s edge. “So where do we begin?”
