That's a good choice. Note that you can't use the shield and whip in the same turn.

I will decide them, but I'm also open to suggestions. They can be a lot of things; a berserk mode, an energy shield, ability to make holograms and so on. They all will have a time limit to them before the pilot's synchronization rates start dropping, however, and they require a very high synchronization rate to be available. Unless someone gets lucky, I don't think anyone will have one at the start.
