History: Kalio was born in one of the prestigious merchant houses of the empire, her family was making a nice profit with the recent industrialization and magical weapons, however, she was not much of a fan of the empire itself, not because of any moral issue but because she found that the plan was shortsighted and would probably lead to a bad economical situation, for her dismay when she sent the report they filled it as a signal of subversion, she would be in trouble if she was poor, but as a result she was drafted into the army "Put your math to good use" they said

Too bad she wasn't having any of that, her main fear was that if she rebelled her family would probably receive some backlash even if they were rich enough to be safe, so what she did was fake her death in an incident and flee to a nearby kingdom.
