apperance: A stout young man with tan skin, calloused hands, hairy arms, and a barrel chest with just a tuft of hair. Dark brown eyes sunken in his round face with the stubble of a boy who 
hit puberty early and bulbous nose. His shaggy brown hair hangs to his broad back.  Usually wears his piolet jumpsuit or fatigues.

Backround:Grew up with his father and mother who owned a combination tailor/dojo in the slums. His father stiched and hemmed clothes/his mother taught the ancient art of  jiu jitsu. 
Growing up Garrison quickly became a second degree black belt in jiu jitsu as well as earning the coveted golden pin cushion of excellence in tailoring at the age of 13. 
everything was going well until one night the cruxi attacked his home planet and gary watched his mother being atomized in plasma beam. 
Immediately Garrison volunteered for duty against his father’s wishes. However during Garrisons 3rd mission his whole squad was wiped out due to bad Intel resulting in over 14 casualties as the super heavy mechs smashed into the deep mud of a swamp planet instead of the hard rocky surface they were expecting. It was only luck that garrison survived during the drop one of his thrusters had malfunctioned
sending him off course and into a rocky embankment. by the time garrison turned his mech around his comrades were already sunken so deep into that black muck that they couldn't even be reached by coms.
This incident led was the impetus for developing the HBIMM.

Secondary weapon: Higgs Boson Interlagrangian Matter Manipulator. A device about the size of a dairy cow near the mechs core. 
capable of altering the mass of the GOLEM for limited periods of time, making it hyper/hypo massive. 
The continuum transfunctioner placed behind the cockpit generates an opposing field shielding the pilot from the effects. 
using this system GOLEM is able to reduce its mass for faster take off using its massive repulser drives which are located on the soles of the feet, 
the elbows, and the calves, as well as the reverse induction drive located on GOLEMs back.    
Armor type: extreme density ablative armor plating with embedded electromagnetic field generators protecting from massive impacts such as 
accelerated orbital drops and anti-material fire. The field generators can deflect plasma but sustained fire will begin to burn out the 
fuel cells on the generators.
