[@KatherinWinter] Kido looked ahead to the campfire again just in time to see the girl from earlier that day step into the center of the group and start showing off her ability. She really did have incredible control over fire! He didn't even know it could be formed into such shapes, but perhaps that was because he hadn't ever been able to try it himself. Perhaps the kids here could all use their abilities to create things like that. Either way, the moving shapes were beautiful. Captivating, hypnotizing, even. A reflexive jump in his stomach and the stopping of his boot in an unexpected way for a split second brought the distracted boy out of his trance only to notice that the ground was rising very quickly to meet him. With a small yelp, he shut his eyes as he fell and felt his heart skip before speeding up even more significantly than usual. Pop! Still making small squeaks of surprise, a small, doll-like entity wearing a frilled pastel dress rolled head-over-heels the rest of the way toward the group, not stopping until it landed on its stomach in front of someone's feet. Still dizzy from rolling so far, the small creature stayed still and closed its eyes to stop the world from spinning.
